[hylafax-users] Core dump

Hi

I've been trying to setup - 4.1 Hylafax (binary from mandrake update)on a 
Mandrake 7.1 server, kernel 2.4.5, without much luck. I'm using an Rockwell 
RC56D/SP (AOpenFM56-EX/2) external modem, and i think this is the problem. 
Hylafax seems to work, but the machine answering keeps hanging up. Sendfax 
returns the error 11 and than produces a core dump, the core file became so 
large it froze up my server (250MB)I've read-up on the problem and may need 
a differant modem, since Hylafax does not by default produce the proper 
setup for the modem. And i do not know how to modify the setup so that the 
modem works.

I do not know if i should send more info or just buy a modem that works.

When reading up on core files it was suggested i email the programmers that 
made the program and let them know their program produced a core dump.

Please feel free to ask for more info. and let me know how to get the proper 
information you need.
