Upgraded from 4.1beta3; downloaded sources and compiled, ./configure make make install (as su ofcourse) 2. /var/spool/hylafax exists 3. manually looked at the contents of /var/spool/hylafax/etc/hosts.hfaxd; looks like : localhost 127.0.0.1 user1:970:someencryptedgiberish user2:971:someotherencryptedgiberish should I add my internal network range as the third line above? 10.0.0.0/24 Thanks for all you help so far! I doubt that the problem has to do with the upgrade itself, but rather probably with the way that you upgraded or your missing the spool dir change (hint). Yes, for some reason faxadduser is running in the background, which is why it does that "[1] 975" and "[1]+ Done" stuff.
