Hi I'm just watching /var/log/messages to keep an eye on the new modems I stuck on our server (the Elsa Microlink ones I mentioned that had been recommended to me - nice modems) and I was wondering if the following message: FaxGetty[1652]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION could be ammended to mention which port it has answered on, e.g.: FaxGetty[1652]: ANSWER (ttyS2): FAX CONNECTION (Really I think faxgetty should report which port it's operating on for all of the normal syslog messages it produces - it would make things much easier than having to look up the pid to find out what port it's running on) Cheers, -- Chris Jones IT Department ICM Group ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
