[hylafax-users] Waiting for modem to come ready

Hi,

Platform: RedHat 7.1, HylaFax 4.1 Beta 3

I got this status message:
HylaFax Scheduler on server: Running
Modem modem (1.###.###.####): Waiting for modem to come ready

/dev/modem is a link to /dev/ttyS1. I configured /dev/modem with faxsetup
and faxmodem. What is wrong?

Another question: I entered a fax number within my own area code, such as
650-5789, but wbhy status adds the area code in front of it: 1-323-650-5789?
