You missed the part that says, "The HylaFAX software optionally uses
this
program and the fact that it does not exist on the system is not a fatal
error."

mgetty is to handle data calls
vgetty is to handle voice calls
egetty is to handle other calls (don't ask me to define "other", cuz I
don't know)
