hi list readers, i want to change from some working analog lines to some bigger telephone system. But I need to dial a "0" to get a dialtone. So i changed "etc/config.ttySxx" and added the line "ModemDialCmd: ATDT0,%s". my "/var/log/messages" tells me when faxing "Mar 16 15:41:35 faxpingu FaxSend[309]: modemdialcmd = ATDT0,%s (line 83)" so i thought it worked. But when i fax something nothing changed, like i see in the "etc/xferlog": 03/16/01 15:41 SEND 00012325 ttyS4 12321 "" root@faxpingu "06966573190" "+49 69 66573190" 65535 0 0:08 0:00 "No local dialtone; too many attempts to dial" (+49 prefix for germany, 69 city, 66573190 local number, maxtries set to 1) (no additionally needed "0") additionally (!) I added the line "^[0-9]{5,}$ = 0,& ! add 0 for outside calls" to the "/etc/dialrules", but also no effect. what is wrong ? (additional: where can i disable the waiting for a dialtone?) thanks for your time, Sven. rpm -q -a | grep hylafax hylafax-v4.0pl2-71 ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
