[hylafax-users] Communication problems hylafax4.1beta2 Suse7.1 kernel 2.4.0 class2 comp. modem

Hi!

I installed the hylafax server ver.4.1beta 2 from the Suse installation-cds
(rpm version) on my system (Suse7.1 kernel 2.4.0 glibc 2.2). I have an old
Smart Link modem (XT-1414SA) (UMC controller 96????), which is EIA
class2 comp. and comp. to the TeleSales 14.4 modem (Before I use the linux
server, a windows nt server running with a faxserver with the telesales
driver).

Now I have a lot of problems with the server. I can not send (see the
following log file) or receive (auto anservering doesnt function;led AA on
the modem isn't active) faxes

faxgetty ttyS0 is startet. hylafax is startet
