[hylafax-users] installation woes: egetty?

Hello all and sorry to bother you about this. I'm sure it must of been 
handled already but I wasn't able to find out anything about egetty via 
google or alltheweb.com and well if I strike out between those I'm not left 
very hopeful...

Do I need to compile hylafax from source? I would much rather use package 
management if possible so that I can uninstall it later if it doesn't work 
out for me. But, I ran faxsetup and was greeted with this message:

Warning: /bin/egetty does not exist or is not an executable program!

The file:

    /bin/egetty

does not exist or this file is not an executable program.  The
HylaFAX software optionally uses this program and the fact that
it does not exist on the system is not a fatal error.  If the
program resides in a different location and you do not want to
install a symbolic link for /bin/egetty that points to your program
then you must reconfigure and rebuild HylaFAX from source code.
"
I'm running Mandrake 7.2, can anyone offer me any suggestions?
