[hylafax-users] Only part of page received - help please

Hi,

I am trying to set up hylafax (rpm -q reports 
version 4.1beta2-4), under SuSe Linux 6.3 - using 
Susefax.  I have a Supra Express 56e Pro modem 
and I can send faxes without any problem using 
the default faxsetup entries.

When first receiving I hit the "phase error while 
receiving"  problem, but solved that by editing my 
conf.modem to fix 19200 as recommended in the 
helpful faq Q409.

I can now receive BUT I receive only about 25 - 30 
per cent of each (A4) page sent.  On the 2 page 
fax to which the log file I apeend relates, KDE 
faxviewer shows width 432 length 191 and width 
432 length 130 - but I am not sure how to interpret 
these figures.

The sending machine (my own Betacom used for 
testing), seems to see a good transmission, and I 
cannot see anything obviously wrong in the receive 
log file, which I append.  I have edited out my 
'phone numbers for the sake of security.

I would be very grateful for any help, because 
putting the fax in place is the last stage in setting 
up my SOHO under linux thereby escaping the 
clutches of Mr Gates.
