[hylafax-users] Bug or Config -> pagerTTYPairty = even; Please help.
Hi,
I have run into the brick wall with configuring
the latest Beta to send pages to Telstra (
Australia). Telstra requires 7bits data and even
parity. Using pagerTTYParity=even causes timeout
errors in the modem chat sequence as shown below:
Sep 25 22:01:53.77: [ 1588]: SESSION BEGIN
00000084 6118018767
Sep 25 22:01:53.77: [ 1588]: SEND PAGE: JOB 49
DEST 018018767 COMMID 00000084
Sep 25 22:01:53.77: [ 1588]: DELAY 2600 ms
Sep 25 22:01:56.37: [ 1588]: <-- [6:ATZE0\r]
Sep 25 22:01:56.59: [ 1588]: --> [1:K]
Sep 25 22:02:01.59: [ 1588]: MODEM <Timeout>
Sep 25 22:02:01.59: [ 1588]: <--
[12:AT+FCLASS=0\r]
Sep 25 22:02:01.84: [ 1588]: --> [1:K]
Sep 25 22:02:31.84: [ 1588]: MODEM <Timeout>
Sep 25 22:02:31.84: [ 1588]: PAGE FAILED: Unable
to configure modem for data use
Sep 25 22:02:31.84: [ 1588]: SESSION END
If I set pagerTTYParity=none, the modem chat
sequence works flawlessly until connection when I
get a forced disconnection due to the parity
issue. Is this a bug or my inexperience?
Please help.
Regards,
Kim Adil
