[hylafax-users] No response to EOP

With some modems we have the problem:

REMOTE HANGUP: No response to EOP repeated 3 times (code 54)
SEND: No response to EOP repeated 3 times; Giving up after 3 attempts to send
same page "docq/doc56.ps;00", dirnum 0

Is this a problem of our faxmodem (3Com Robotics)
ati3 gives: U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT Rev. 11.6.11
