[hylafax-users] Modem Not Resetting

Here's a puzzler. Running 4.1 Beta 2 on a RH 6.2 Linux system. Two different
modems. One of them, a Rockwell AC/V.34 (Practical Peripherals 336 Voice)
sometimes does not reset after receiving a fax. Killing and restarting
Faxgetty fixes the problem. Checking the messages file shows a "Purge stale
UUCP lock" message for the modem while Faxgetty is restarting.

Can anyone enlighten this dim-witted admin as to these goings-on?
