Hello,

i have SuSE 6.2 (Kernell 2.2.14) and hylafax running with faxgetty.
(sending and receiving faxes has been tested with many faxmachines
without prblems), but...

Receiving a fax from a HP-Laserjet 3150 leeds to:
Aug 30 18:55:45 li-mm FaxGetty[9829]: MODEM "ELSA, AACHEN (GERMANY)"
"MicroLink 33.6TS"/"Ver. 1.00 vom 06.03.97"
Aug 30 18:56:22 li-mm FaxGetty[9829]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION

and nothing else. One has to kill faxgetty via kill -HUP [Prozess-PID]
to have it restart.

Faxmachine stop sending after one minute, then tries do dial again but
this does not work because faxgetty still hangs.

How do i make the modem work with a lots of other fax machines?

Any help appreciated.
