RedHat-6.1 categorically does NOT come with libpng2 - it's a third party thing
you plugged in :-( This is a 6.1 build with a COMPLETE install:
[root@osmin /root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Linux release 6.1 (Cartman)
[root@osmin /root]# rpm -qa | egrep png
libpng-1.0.3-4
libpng-devel-1.0.3-4

Yes, that would be what was installed with RedHat-6.1.

I refuse to comment on yet another bogus RPM. What the heck is
libgr-progs-2_0_14-2_i386.rpm??? Here's what you should have on a RedHat-6.2
box:
[darren@hewes darren]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Linux release 6.2 (Zoot)
[darren@hewes darren]$ rpm -qa | egrep libgr
libgr-2.0.13-23
libgr-devel-2.0.13-23
libgr-progs-2.0.13-23
And on 6.1:
[root@osmin /root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Linux release 6.1 (Cartman)
[root@osmin /root]# rpm -qa | egrep libgr
libgr-2.0.13-20
libgr-devel-2.0.13-20
libgr-progs-2.0.13-20
Good luck.
