Wow. That's slightly older than the hills.
My snap reaction is to suggest that you plan on trying to do a build
of the latest tarball. At the moment, that's 4.1beta2, I think, but
it may not be more than a week or two until it becomes beta3 (or rc1
:-). I don't know the current build status of 4.1 on Solaris; perhaps
someone who's running it there will pipe up.

The Couriers are nice hardware, but their firmware lies about a couple
of things. Someone, and I think it was Lee Howard, just posted a
pointer to a reasonably up-to-date config file for the USR's, which,
although it hasn't gotten real heavy-duty testing, is probably a
better bet than the original ones.

If you can spare the time, go to ftp.hylafax.org, and dig around until
you find the beta source tarball. If you have compilers, that is.
If not, we'll have to hunt around and see if someone else's building
4.1 for Polaris.
What sort of load does this system run, and which directions?
