I am successfully running HylaFAX v4.1beta2 on Linux 2.2.14. It works likes a charm. One thing I have noticed is that on occasions we have client machines that send a number of documents to be faxed to the same destination fax number at almost the same time. The fax system sends these successfully, making a separate telephone call to the destination fax for each document submitted. I was wondering whether it was possible for HylaFAX to be able to look at the job queue and send all faxes in the queue at that time going to the same destination, in one telephone call. I can see some issues such as when HylaFAX looks at the job queue but I still thought it might be a useful function to minimise call costs, especially long distance calls. Has anyone come across this before? Is it able to be done? Unfortunately, due to the way the sending documents are created, they cannot be submitted as a single job. I look forward to anyones comments.
