Hello, I fixed this problem quickly by doing the following. 1. Download the HylaFAX source for the version you are using 2. run the configure script 3. run make 4. go to the ./utils directory in the source tree and locate the textfmt file 5. do a "whereis textfmt" and make a backup copy of the existing textfmt file 6. copy the ./utils/textfmt file to the directory found above for the existing textfmt file It should work now, at least it worked for me :). It appears the textfmt program hardcodes the afm search path in the textfmt executable. AFAIK this should not cause any problems with an existing HylaFAX installation. I am planning to do a make install of the source tree compilation at a later date. This would be the preffered method of fixing this problem. Just thought I would share this with the list. -----Original Message----- From: manish [mailto:manishv@intellvisions.com] Sent: Monday, July 17, 2000 12:31 AM To: brendin@dreamland.ab.ca Subject: Re:same problem hi i am facing the same problem and if u find a solution do mail me the same. thanks. manish ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
