what communications API does DIVA support on the system you plan to run
hylafax?
AFAIK hylafax can only talk to modems conntected to the server by a serial
line.
If you do not have this your hardware has to emulate the serial line for
hylafax.

AVM announced CAPI 2.0 support under linux for hylafax. see somewhere on
www.avm.de.
Should be ready "this year".
