Hylafax-4.1beta1-1rh6(.rpm) running on a RedHat 6.0 (i386) box with an internal Dynalink VoiceCard56 Pro ISA (Rockwell based) modem. It receives from most senders without a hitch, but receiving faxes from one particular sender generates a COMREC error every time. The resulting log file: -------------------------------------------------------------- May 09 08:30:20.02: [ 4612]: SESSION BEGIN 00000909 61555555555 May 09 08:30:20.02: [ 4612]: <-- [4:ATA\r] May 09 08:30:22.02: [ 4612]: --> [3:FAX] May 09 08:30:22.02: [ 4612]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION May 09 08:30:22.02: [ 4612]: RECV FAX: begin May 09 08:30:32.88: [ 4612]: --> [5:+FCON] May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: --> [22:+FDCS: 1,3,0,2,0,0,0,0] May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: REMOTE wants 9600 bit/s May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: REMOTE wants page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: REMOTE wants unlimited page length May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: REMOTE wants 7.7 line/mm May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: REMOTE wants 1-D MR May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: --> [2:OK] May 09 08:30:33.33: [ 4612]: <-- [7:AT+FDR\r] May 09 08:31:02.20: [ 4612]: --> [9:+FHNG: 72] May 09 08:31:02.20: [ 4612]: REMOTE HANGUP: COMREC error (code 72) May 09 08:31:02.20: [ 4612]: RECV FAX (00000909): recvq/fax00884.tif from , route to <unspecified>, 0 pages in 0:40 May 09 08:31:02.23: [ 4612]: RECV FAX: COMREC error May 09 08:31:02.23: [ 4612]: RECV FAX (00000909): session with terminated abnormally: COMREC error May 09 08:31:02.23: [ 4612]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00884.tif" "ttyS1" "00000909" "COMREC error" May 09 08:31:02.78: [ 4612]: RECV FAX: end May 09 08:31:02.78: [ 4612]: SESSION END ----------------------------------------------------------- The config.ttyS1 (relevant modem stuff): ---------------------------------------------------------- ModemType: Class2 # use class 2 interface ModemRate: 38400 ModemFlowControl: rtscts # default # #ModemResetCmds: AT&F2 # what you want for a Supra ModemNoFlowCmd: AT&K # disable flow control cmd ModemHardFlowCmd: AT&K3 # hardware flow control cmd ModemSoftFlowCmd: AT&K4 # software flow control cmd ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D3 # DTR off causes modem to reset #ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2S25=1S38=0 # Dynalink 1414VE needs this ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # DCD follows carrier ModemSetupAACmd: AT+FAA=1+FCLASS=0 # enable in current class # ModemSendFillOrder: LSB2MSB # as expected ModemRecvFillOrder: MSB2LSB # opposite of what makes sense # ModemAnswerFaxBeginCmd: "<38400><rtscts>" # modem switches on fax receive # # Caller ID configuration setup for Supra. # #QualifyCID: etc/cid # CID access control list file #CIDNumber: "NMBR = " # pattern string for phone number info #CIDName: "NAME = " # pattern string for identity info Class2RecvDataTrigger: "\022" ------------------------------------------------ So far it's just the 1 sender that is having any trouble.
