Another way is to run a macro. I once set up WordPerfect 5.1 for UNIX to print to DigiFAX this way. Here's how I'd do it for HylaFAX. You decide whether it's too much trouble or not. (1) Load ActivePerl (http://www.activestate.com/ActivePerl/download.htm) on the PC. This gives you access to OLE, which you'll be using to tie WordPerfect and WHFC together. (2) Write a small Perl script to call WHFC via OLE. The WHFC home page has an example. (3) Create a macro in WordPerfect called "fax". This macro will print the document to file and call the Perl script to run WHFC. That bypasses the problem of trying to make your DOS app print to a Windows printer. Unfortunately, I removed WP51 from the UNIX box four days ago so I don't have the macro to show you :( The WHFC web site has an example of how to do it in Corel WordPerfect that may be of some help: http://www.transcom.de/whfc/doku/oleexample.php -- Carl Patten > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-flexfax@celestial.com [mailto:owner-flexfax@celestial.com]On > Behalf Of Ulrich Eckhardt > Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2000 6:09 AM > To: flexfax@sgi.com > Subject: Re: flexfax: Faxing from Word Perfect (DOS) > > > Paul van der Vlis wrote: > > > > Hello! > > > > An office I know likes to HylaFAX from Word Perfect 5.1, a DOS > program.
