And the problem, at least for Linux/RedHat based distributions still exists with libtiff-3.5.4-5.i386.rpm (RedHat 6.2) with the latest hylafax rpm I found, being hylafax-4.1beta1-1rh6. Now the problem is that other software needs the newer libtiff, and before you know it, your server has more custom stuff then RPM's and the maintanance nightmare from pre package days starts all over again :) Ah well, it works again.
