Hello, I've a problem during the emission of a standard postcript file through my USRobotics Courier Modem to another standard fax machine. I've always the following error in the log file : Begening of the communication, first page sent... ... Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: SENT 13683 bytes of data Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: SEND 1D RTC Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: <-- data [9] Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: SEND end page Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: SEND send MPS (more pages, same document) Apr 07 12:29:28.45: [22093]: <-- data [2] Apr 07 12:29:42.57: [22093]: --> [5:ERROR] Apr 07 12:29:42.57: [22093]: SEND recv RTN (retrain negative) It do this three times and then hangup. The file sended is an ascii file converted to a postscript with the a2ps utility with the following options --portrait --columns=1. I'm working on a Linux RedHat6.1 station with the last version of hylafax.
