flexfax: Fax/Voice/Data modems with memory

Hi,


there are several fax/voice/data modems with memory buffer on the market,
thus one can receive fax messages even if the computer is not running.
Is it possible to use such modems with hylafax?
More precisely, is there a way to retrieve the stored fax messages (under 
Linux, that is)?
Is there anyone who has such a modem running under Linux?
