supported hardware?

This might not be an appropo question, but I am really new to this game
and have no where else to turn.

I have need for an 8 port modem and have the opportunity to buy a Shiva
LanRover 8E. My question is this, will it work for broadcast faxing, and
will it work under Linux? I am using Redhat 6.0 and hylafax 4.1beta1. If
this will work, has anyone done it and what were the problems found. I
can't be left in the dark on this endeavor, so I must know that it will
work before laying out the money.

Thanks in advance for your help.
