Invalid Sequence Number

We just installed Hylafax version 4.0p1 and everything went well.  When we
try and fax with the command:

sendfax -d8940179 /etc/passwd

The following error is returned:

553 Unable to open sequence number file docq/seqf; Invalid argument.

Any ideas??
