RE: WHFC and HylaFax 4.1beta2 password problem.

Thanks Keith for your response.

I tried the solution but WHFC still keeps on asking for a password to
enter...

Compiled HylaFax 4.1beta2 with gcc 2.8.1 on Sun Sparc 20 w/Solaris 2.6

Here is the exact hosts.hfaxd file...

127.0.0.1 # localhost
192.77.226 # anybody in 192.77.226 class
*\.panasonicfa.com$ # anybody in panasonicfa.com
192.168.1 # anybody in the 192.168.1 class
192.168.2 # anybody in the 192.168.2 class
192.168.3 # anybody in the 192.168.3 class
192.168.4 # anybody in the 192.168.4 class
192.168.5 # anybody in the 192.168.5 class
192.168.6 # anybody in the 192.168.6 class
192.168.7 # anybody in the 192.168.7 class

The result I want to achieve is to not have any passwords. Anybody listed
in the
range of hosts can send a fax without a password.

Am I missing some key parameter to turn off password prompting?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Lenon

192.168

without the .*.* should do it!
