Yes it will be.  Although there are postscript level 2 features to compress
images, they are of limited benefit when printing and many printers are
only postscript level 1.

There's no point in  exceeding 200 x 200 (actually something like
204 x 196, I think).  You also need to make sure that you are saving
the picture as grayscale, or, as line art (and with half tone screening
already done if the image isn't pure black and white - dithering is 
probably not a good idea).

Even better is to not use painted images, but to use a vector based 
graphics package (the drawing function in Word, if you have no better).
