Good for you! > I can print incoming faxes but I have a question (or two): > > How can I easily archive outgoing faxes in convinient way > (e.g. using newsgroup server - I decided to use this method to archive > incoming faxes) ? Hmm. I use a web server, which gives me more control over the access and over the declared MIME types of the files. The "faxstat" program in the contrib directory at www.hylafax.org is not bad. If you need to archive them in a more guaranteed viewable format than tiffg3, you might look into using fax2ps to turn them into Postscript or tiffsplit to split it up into plain TIFF files. But every time you translate them into another format, expect to make the files bigger and/or lose resolution. > How can I print faxes being sent (this form of archiwing is old-fashioned but > obligatory one) ? Oooff. Time to get into the "notify" script and edit it appropriately. Nico Kadel-Garcia Senior Engineer, CIRL Mass.
