O.K. I have now 19.200 baud at rtscts and the sending of faxes is 
very well!

But, the receiving of faxes make waste. The .tif files have the 
correct amount of bytes (ca. 20 kB for a one side fax, or 60 kB for 
another 2 side fax), but ghostscript or tiffview shows waste and 
error messages that the scanlines are not correct.

Why?

Have anone an hint?

The system is hylafax4.0pl2 with an external Dr. Neuhaus Smarty 
28.8 TI DNS 1125R/V.0.00.0675. The distribution is Suse 6.1. The 
log file shows no problem.
