flexfax: MaxDials problem

Hi.
	I've put 
MaxDials:    3

in etc/config, but faxstat -s still seems to insists that the max
number of dials is 12:
70   127 W mjames 01604 668607  2:4   1:12         Unspecified Transmit Phas

Can anyone suggest why this might be so ?
