> Just to clear up something ... Redhat 6.0 does not come standard with the fuser > command. Don't get stuck on that point. Hi, Thanks for the idea...but that's not the problem. The fuser command is in the /usr/sbin directory.... and I only chose the extra networking type modules during installation, so maybe that is why I have it. Certainly didn't install it individually (didn't know about it). thanks, Jeff
