are you running a server like novell? it has a fantastic program called
ZENworks and that would send the already configured and tested setup to
every PC next time they login. i think NT has a similar one but not
nearly as powerful as ZENworks.

Hi, I'm afraid not :( We're running NT4 on all the servers and workstations.
We had some scripts for installing programs at one point, but they caused
more problems than they solved, so we decided not to use them again unless
it was critical !
