Hello, I recently managed to install HylaFax 4.0pl2 on my 2.0.36 Linuxbox with egcs-1.1.1 and was succesfull in sending a fax out with my Diamond SupraExpress 56e PRO. But I am not able to receive any fax. And because I have only one telephone line it is very difficult to test.=20 Support from Diamond wasn't very helpful (Oh, Linux? That's not our game ...), the AT-Doku for the included Rockwell Chips (RCV56HCF) is very outdated and doesn't know anything about Class 2 Fax commands. After I changed the tracelevels to 527 there are the following lines showing up in the log-file: Jun 22 22:07:57.53: [ 137]: SESSION BEGIN 00000006 49 Jun 22 22:07:57.54: [ 137]: <-- [4:ATA\r] Jun 22 22:07:58.88: [ 137]: --> [3:FAX] Jun 22 22:07:58.88: [ 137]: MODEM set baud rate: 19200 baud (flow control unchanged) Jun 22 22:07:58.89: [ 137]: MODEM set baud rate: 19200 baud, input flow XON/XOFF, output flow XON/XOFF Jun 22 22:07:58.89: [ 137]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION Jun 22 22:07:58.89: [ 137]: MODEM input buffering enabled Jun 22 22:07:58.90: [ 137]: RECV FAX: begin Jun 22 22:10:58.99: [ 137]: MODEM TIMEOUT: reading line from modem Jun 22 22:10:59.02: [ 137]: REMOTE HANGUP: Unspecified Receive Phase B error (code 70) Jun 22 22:10:59.02: [ 137]: RECV FAX: Unspecified Receive Phase B error Jun 22 22:10:59.03: [ 137]: RECV FAX: end Jun 22 22:10:59.03: [ 137]: SESSION END Yes, I did read the FAQ and the SDB (Suse Support Database). They both=20 mention this error, with the solution to change ModemRecvFillOrder from "LSB2MSB" to "MSB2LSB" -- but my config.modem have had the obscure order. Sure, I changed it, but without any effect. Here is the modem related stuff from config.modem. With this confiuration I have received the log showed above. # ModemType:=09=09Class2=09=09# use class 2 interface ModemRate:=09=0938400 ModemFlowControl:=09rtscts=09=09# default # #ModemResetCmds:=09AT&F2=09=09# what you want for a Supra ModemNoFlowCmd:=09=09AT&K=09=09# disable flow control cmd ModemHardFlowCmd:=09AT&K3=09=09# hardware flow control cmd ModemSoftFlowCmd:=09AT&K4=09=09# software flow control cmd ModemSetupDTRCmd:=09AT&D3=09=09# DTR off causes modem to reset #ModemSetupDTRCmd:=09AT&D2S25=3D1S38=3D0=09# Dynalink 1414VE needs this ModemSetupDCDCmd:=09AT&C1=09=09# DCD follows carrier ModemSetupAACmd:=09AT+FAA=3D1+FCLASS=3D0 # enable in current class # ModemSendFillOrder:=09LSB2MSB=09=09# as expected ModemRecvFillOrder:=09MSB2LSB=09=09# opposite of what makes sense #ModemRecvFillOrder:=09LSB2MSB=09=09# the normal way # ModemAnswerFaxBeginCmd:=09"<19200><xon>"=09# modem switches on fax receiv= e # # Caller ID configuration setup for Supra. # #QualifyCID:=09=09etc/cid=09=09# CID access control list file #CIDNumber:=09=09"NMBR =3D "=09# pattern string for phone number info #CIDName:=09=09"NAME =3D "=09# pattern string for identity info Could you please help me?
