Hi Andreas, -> I haven't found anything in FAQs, so this is probably not -> a frequently asked question (why actually... ? ): Maybe because anybody hates this topic :-) -> Are there any plans, or is there any chance to run -> Hylafax with some kind of ISDN hardware? I would even -> be happy with using a couple of internal ISDN terminal -> adapters that emulate 2.0 fax modems... We tried to use external ISDN-TA's (ELSA TLV.34 ISDN) but they don't work well! These modems crashed so often (always the newest firmware!) that i decided to throw them out! I found another solution to use ISDN! It is not the way a wanted to use but i only want to get the phonenumber which was called. The proper working way is: ISDN -- ISDN-analog-adaptor -- Normal modem -- ttySx on LINUX | -------------------------------------- ISDN-card with LINUX In $HYLADIR/bin/faxrcvd i am sniffing the /var/log/messages for the ISDN-card roumoring about incoming calls. In combination with the right ttySx we can do the trick! This works perfect and nobody is angry about LINUX and HylaFAX anymore! There is another solution using the AVM-B1 internal ISDN-card but i haven't tried it! I hope that helps! cu
