I am running RH5.1 and am also getting an email telling me: "unable to exec /usr/sbin/faxsend" The permissions on this file are "-rwxr-xr-x". I am issuing this command from the server logged in as root: "sendfax -n -d 5555656 /etc/test.txt" One other possible hint is that when I do a faxstat -a It tells me that the scheduler service is running, but it does not tell me the status of the modem. I noticed in all the doc's that doing a faxstat with several of the option flags will also give the status of the modem. Could this be a symptom of a problem that is also keeping my faxsend from working? -----Original Message----- From: Keith G. On my system the permissions are "-rwxr-xr-x". Have you tried it that way?
