flexfax: HylaFax woos and BSDI 4.0

I found an error when I upgraded my BSDI server to 4.0 it screwed up my
ghostscript

gs would yield a cant find libXt.so.6 or something along those lines...  SO
 I downlaoded  ghostscript 5.10 (GNU) and compiled it, I now have gs
working (somewhat I believe)

Now on to Hylafax  I grabbed the latest tar from hylafax.org compiled it
compiled straight away.. I installed it worked fine.. now when I try and
use the sendfax program it works but in my /var/spool/fax/doneq dir there
is a file  when i l;ook at this file I see the following

What have I done wrong or what am I missing? I have a fonts dir in the path
as shown above with gs -h  any way to figure this out.. its driving me to
drink <grin>
