Fw: flexfax: wedged modem? Solved, Thanks !

On Monday February 22, 1999 15:53 I wrote about our "wedged" PPI modem.  I
got eight answers, thanks a bunch guys... you've really helped me address
the support issue with management here.

The problem was the modem.  I pulled off the PPI and added a Telebit we had
laying around from the UUCP days.  I also used Robert Colquhoun's suggestion
in changing the port from cua1 to ttyS1.  From what he says the cua device
files do not exist in Linux 2.2.

I've got it FAXing from the command line now and will be trying an email
gateway next.
