flexfax: Problems with ISO8859

Hi there +ACE-

  I'm having some problems using the HylaFax faxmail gateway. When I send
messages with latin characters,
this characters are converted to a code like '+-Axx' , where xx is a
hexadecimal number. Somebody has a idea what I should do to the characters
display right on the fax ?
  I'm using hylafax-v4.0pl2.
