flexfax: Warning...

Ok.... I set 

export FAXSERVER=fax.ee.virginia.edu:4559

and I don't get the message.... I just thought that one could 
just put export FAXSERVER=fax.ee.virginia.edu ....

still curious as to the "official" way, however.
