Hello! Uli!
Many thanks for your reply!
My problem still persists.
I can send from hylafax-v4.0pl2 in Linux 2.0.35 by issuing command:
sendfax -n -d 9999 /etc/hosts
Now I am trying to use WHFC 1.0.4 in Windows95 (4.00.950 B) from which
to send faxes.
I want to allow all users and hosts in domain company.com.tw to access
hylafax services.
mail:/var/spool/fax/etc# cat hosts
localhost
127.0.0.1
203.66.130.27
203.66.130.*
# I also tried
# ^.*\.company\.com\.tw$:::
I can also connect from Windows to hfaxd:
C:\WINDOWS>telnet xx.xx.xx.xx 4559
USER xxxx
HELP
...
QUIT
also works.
My problems are as below:
1. Every time I started WHFC, WHFC died immediately with status
"xx.xx.xx. server (HylaFAX(tm) Version 4.0pl2) ready."
2. I click "Test Print Page" in Printer Manager, sometimes I got
"WHFC-Ole Server not found" error from WFCMON but sometimes I didn't. If
I got WFCMON error, WHFC did not appear. Otherwise, if I did not get
WFCMON error, WHFC is invoked automatically. Then I typed in the
destination phone#. Then the "sending fax" window appeared with status
"Data Connection sucessfull opened" and died.
Only stopping "WHFC, Rundll32" and "Sending fax" after pressing
Alt+Ctrl+Del keys could I clean these dead windows.
My Windows95 has "Intersolv 3.10 ODBC" installed. Can this ODBC be the
source of problem?
Regards,
CN
