Hi Barry, I am not an expect on SCO - its been a long time :-) However I seem to remember the command "enable" is a bit of a hack. It is probably digging around in inittab looking for a standard getty entry. Not finding it, it comes up with this message. Your best bet is to edit /etc/inittab directly - change the "off" to "respawn" and then run "telinit -q" to get init to re-read it.
