I am having a problem which we had with version 4.0pl0 from BSDi 3.1, after
which I upgraded to 4.0pl2 (with some doing). Now I'm having the problem
again in 4.0pl2. I never had the problem when we were on BSDi 2.0, it only
started after we upgraded to 3.1.
The problem is that it does not process the pages. The faxstat queues show
0:0 pages for every job. This is intermittent and it will work for several
days, then it gets stuck and I have to kill and restart faxq to get it going
again. But I need to get it fixed right.
I remember once before I had found some error saying something about not
being able to convert the file to tiff or something, but even with the
servertracing I've enabled now, I don't seem to find that error. What
servertracing values should I have in the config file and in the hfaxd.conf
(?) file to track down this problem?
Here's what faxstat shows when it's in this state:
root@vtcom3:/var/spool/fax/etc faxstat -sd
HylaFAX scheduler on ns.vantek.net: Running
Modem ttyA13 (+1-999-999-9999): Running and idle
JID Pri S Owner Number Pages Dials TTS Status
456 127 D root 9999999 0:0 0:12
457 127 D root 9999999 0:0 0:12
And here's the log showing everything for the most recent attempt:
