Hylafax refuse incoming calls

Hi

I am running hylafax on the following platform:

SunOS 5.5.1 Generic_103640-08 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-1
Modem: USR Sportster
ftp://ftp.sgi.com/sgi/fax/binary/hylafax-sparc-sunos5.5-v4.0pl1-pkg.gz

This fax-server is used only for incoming calls. The fax-server can receive
hundreds of calls every day and therefore it must be considered
to be very heavily loaded and. Under normal conditions thing
seems to work just fine. Suddenly at some point the communication
hangs and the modem get stuck for hours. The job log-file have the
following contents:

Jun 12 08:18:00.13: [16713]: SESSION BEGIN 00000046 4696110251

QUESTIONS

1. Has any body else encountered the same problem?
2. Does anybody have experience with the USR Sportster for heavy load?
3. If the Sportster is an unpropriet modem for these conditions what
   shall I by instead?
4. Have there been any changes in V4.0p2 that might have solved these problems?

If you are missing any particular information please let me know and I
send it over.

Looking forward to a clarifying answer.

Boris
