From HylaFAX: modem on /dev/tty00 appears wedged
I have been having a time keeping the modem ready -- every reboot it
seems to want to have the modem reconfigured -- the rc entries don't
work. Running BSDI 3.0 (application requirements). I'm thinking about
moving this paging/fax server off to a BSDI 4.0 system anybody try that
yet? In the meanwhile, what's with this modem? I've swapped it out
with a different one, but it hasn't changed the symptoms so I suspect
the HylaFAX configuration.
It's default BSDI 3.0. Is the problem BSDI or the version of HylaFAX?
While we're talking about this, how come a cu doesn't work?
#/usr/contrib/bin# cu -l tty00
Connect failed
