The fixhtml also lets people install the corrected HTML from source, for new
CGIPATH and HTMLPATH entries. Kind of nice if people want to put up their
own local copy. The HTML corrections are probably excessive, but I went
wild with "weblint" one day.

I really wish you wouldn't require the gs5 RPM's. It takes modem time for
home users, who are using HylaFAX to set up their modems. Why make their lives
more complicated?
The manpage hack works well: since the MANPATH is set in the manpage CGI
script, this enables access to the man pages for Linux sites, that install
their man pages in different locations than those in the web documents.
Better cross-platform compatibility, IMHO.
The skel patch is because, if you set site-wide values in your "skel"
file, they get over-written unnecessarily and without warning if you
happen to use a default "class1" or "class2" modem. Updating the phone
number or area code has to be done in multiple places, depending on
the type of modem. This is, I believe, the wrong way to do
things. The "class1" and "class2" files should only use those flags
which are different for or specific to the modem types.

When I can find the time, sure.
