flexfax: idling modem in class 0

As this doesn't seem to have hit the list for some reason,
I'll try again....



I need to idle my modem in Class 0 (data) using faxgetty,
because I've got another process that uses the modem, and
unfortunately I can't add any init strings to it's setup.

The documenation mentions idling the modem in class 0, but
I can't see anywhere it specifies how to do that.

Any pointers ?
