I have installed Hylafax-4.0.8 on a RedHat-5.0 Linux system, and all seems to check out using the troubleshooting section. I have these running: /usr/sbin/faxq /usr/sbin/faxgetty /dev/modem I am using Tkhylafax as the front-end and this also seems to work. Now my problem, when I send a fax it seems to send a file to /var/spool/fax/sendq, but I don't ever see the actual fax file show up in outgoing, and it never gets sent. There doesn't appear to be any errors when I check /var/log/messages file. It says it sent it, but if I do a 'faxq' it says no entry's. This is what I see in /var/log/messages: Feb 14 00:48:22 picard FaxQueuer[334]: HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.0pl1 Feb 14 00:48:22 picard FaxQueuer[334]: Copyright (c) 1990-1996 Sam Leffler Feb 14 00:48:22 picard FaxQueuer[334]: Copyright (c) 1991-1996 Silicon Graphics, Inc. Thanks for any info or stuff to read, I now have installed Hylafax a least three times thinking I made a mistake so I must be doing something really dumb here.
