Example of faxmail MIME file please

In the faxmail man page, there is described a system for handling MIME
types by putting scripts in subdirectories of /usr/local/sbin/faxmail. Eg
for gif, you would put a script called gif in
/usr/local/sbin/faxmail/image.

However, there are no examples of the scripts. I just need to know what
variables can be passed to the script (input output files or whatever) or
see one or two examples. Is there really no-one out there who is doing
this? Please?
