-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- OK, I believe you. I just wasn't sure that you had cleaned out the whole debris from your previous notes. It seems that the shell subroutine CheckForIncludeFile is not working correctly in the "configure". The files that are checked for are termios.h || sys/termios.h sys/bsdtypes.h osfcn.h sys/select.h net/errno.h sys/mkdev.h locale.h paths.h sys/modem.h sys/termiox.h utmpx.h crypt.h Some of these are not checked for depending on other variables, and some of them doubtless *do* exist on FreeBSD. I suggest that you run "sh -x ./configure" and record the results to figure out what is broken, but I'll bet that it is spuriously detecting non-existent include files. If this is the case, you should be able to set those particular flags (such as HAS_CRYPT_H) in your config.local file. Sam Leffler's shell scripts are very complicated and very cunning, but this makes them a bit fragile for cross-platform stuff. I suspect you've run into a shell scripting problem....
