-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- What version of faxstat are you using? And why is it using 4557? Unless you have been tweaking hyla.conf or otherwise modifying it, you should be using 4559, the "hylafax" port, rather than 4557, the "fax" port. Also, make sure that your hfaxd is running all three ports of snpp (444), fax (4557), and hylafax (4559), as written in the hylafax-v4.0pl1/etc/hylafax.sh startup script. This will let hfaxd answer requests from old faxstat versions on the fax port, and newer versions on the hylafax port, correctly. Calling the 4559 port "fax" is sure to get you in trouble very quickly, unless you really know what you're doing and need to do things that way. Nico Garcia Engineer, CIRL Mass.
